The A Way Forward program provides Mr. Weaver as a speaker to your facility.
Mr. Weaver provides a unique presentation to your Pain Management team. As a chronic pain patient, a peer provider, and a survivor, he will share his amazing journey from pain victim to pain victor. As a gifted and heartfelt communicator, he will educate, inspire and motivate your team to a new level in this difficult field of Pain Management Care. He has spoken before many venues throughout the U.S., and has captivated his audiences.
2. A Way Forward comes to your facility and trains your providers.
A member of our team trains facilitators you select from your team at your facility using the eight module A Way Forward Program. Your team will then be equipped to utilize this material to run the program with your own patients. These powerful tools will help your pain patients manage their pain, the goal being greater productivity and life satisfaction. Materials such as manuals, handouts, instructional DVD’s and/or additional programs must be purchased from the A Way Forward, LLC. This training typically takes 3-5 days depending on number of participants and circumstances.Three days is our average training time. Future training sessions can be arranged for new facilitators within the A Way Forward program for certification.
3. A Way Forward comes to your facility, trains your team in the A Way Forward
Program, and also instructs a select few to be Trainers of Trainers.
This is the most thorough, intensive program A Way Forward currently offers. At the end of this training you will not only have your staff skilled in leading the A Way Forward program for patients, but you will also have your own certified trainers to carry on future training of any new staff. This training typically takes a full week. All materials must still be purchased from A Way Forward, but return visits for training would not be required. Future A Way Forward programs currently being developed would require A Way Forward personnel to train, and certify your team members in these new offerings. (A Way Forward through Depression and A Way Forward through Grief are in process.)
